Ian finds purpose in helping those facing barriers to independence. His main focus is supporting John and the team by engaging with students, assisting at events, and leading fundraising efforts through networking and community engagement.
Ian’s drive is deeply personal, spurred by the memory of his brother, who like John, struggled with personal crises. This loss motivates him to prevent similar tragedies by empowering individuals through education and support at CDS. He values the power of small achievements like obtaining a driving licence and knowing the significant impact these can have on a person's confidence and life opportunities.
