Terms and Conditions for The Community Driving School CIC Small Society Lottery

  1. Introduction
    These Terms and Conditions govern the operation of the Community Driving School CIC Small Society Lottery (“the Lottery”) which is promoted to raise funds for the purposes of providing bespoke driver training, paired with community-based work experience, to those who may not have had the means to obtain a driving license otherwise.
    By entering this Lottery, participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
  2. Eligibility
    Entrants must be 18 years or older and resident in Great Britain.
    Entrants must not buy or claim tickets on behalf of someone else.
    Members of the public and society supporters may enter, but employees involved in the operation of the lottery may be restricted depending on their role.
    Entries must be made via [website/payment platform] and be received before the closing date.
  3. Tickets
    The cost of each ticket is £1.00 purchased in groups of five.
    Tickets may be purchased online only via www.thecds.org.uk.
    Each ticket purchased equals one entry into the draw.
  4. Prizes
    A full list of prizes will be published on social media.
    The draw will take place on 1st of each month or first Monday thereafter.
    Prizes are non-transferable and no alternatives are available, unless otherwise stated.
    Winners will be drawn at random using a secure, fair method.
  5. Notification of Winners
    Winners will be notified by email within seven days of the draw.
    Unclaimed prizes may be forfeited after 30 days.
  6. Use of Proceeds
    All proceeds after prizes and expenses will be used to support The Community Driving School CIC
    A breakdown of proceeds will be available on request.
  7. Responsible Gambling
    Please gamble responsibly.

  8. Cancellation
    The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the Lottery and these Terms at any time. Any significant changes will be communicated on our website and via email.
  9. Liability
    The Promoter accepts no liability for any loss, damage, delay, or failure to comply with its obligations if caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
    We are not responsible for technical issues or ticket failures due to the internet or payment platforms.
  10. Privacy
    Data will be used only for Lottery administration and communication unless explicit consent is given for marketing.
  11. Governing Law
    These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
